Northern Lights opened October 1, 1990. When Chuck and Dawn Hahn bought the business from Marv and Carol Bandt, they became only the fifth owners in history dating back to the 1890’s.
The location is the oldest, continuous running tavern in Phillips and no one has been in the bar business in this town longer than the Hahns.
Northern Lights is open daily at 10:00 a.m. and they serve the best pizza and sandwiches in the area. Order a cheeseburger in this place and you better be hungry, all 1/3 pound patties, and I guarantee you’ll be back for more sooner than later.
Northern Lights now has a Depot Street entrance with easy access for snowmobiles and ATV’s.
