Thursday, October 30 – Trick-or-Treat Thursday in Phillips

Halloween fun arrives early in Phillips with a full evening of community events.

  • Downtown Phillips Trunk-or-Treat | 5–6 p.m.
    Candy, costumes, and community spirit fill the downtown area, thanks to the Phillips PTA.
  • BW Papersystems Trunk-or-Treat | 5–6:30 p.m., 1300 North Airport Road
    A safe, family-friendly event with treats for all ages. (Please note: no alcohol, tobacco, or pets are permitted.)
  • Phillips Community Pool Halloween Party | 6–8 p.m. | $5 entry
    The Phillips Community Pool hosts an evening of games, contests, and treats in a warm indoor setting.
  • Phillips Public Library “Ghosts & Ghouls” Storytelling | 4–5 p.m.
    Local storyteller Tracy Chipman shares tales that capture the playful and spooky spirit of Halloween, perfect for listeners of all ages.

Friday, October 31 – Halloween Night in Phillips

Halloween night lights up the streets of Phillips.
Citywide trick-or-treating runs from 4–6 p.m., followed by the Phillips Lions Club Annual Halloween Party at the Municipal Building on North Eyder Avenue, beginning at 6 p.m.
The evening includes goodie bags for children, free food, games hosted by the Moose Lodge, a cake walk, and a costume contest with prizes for participants of all ages.

October 24–25 and October 31–November 1 – Butternut School Haunted House

Those looking for a thrill can visit the Butternut School Haunted House, open from 7–10 p.m. on multiple nights.
Admission is free for children five and under, $5 for ages six through twelve, and $7 for ages thirteen and up.
Early hours are suitable for families, while later hours feature a full-scare experience for brave visitors.


Saturday, November 1 – Ogema “Our Town” Haunted Forest

Ogema’s Pioneer Park will host an evening of treats and thrills. The Trunk-or-Treat runs from 5–6:30 p.m., followed by the Haunted Forest Walk from 5:30–7:30 p.m. The first hour offers a milder experience for younger children, while the final hour features the full haunted version for those who enjoy a scare.


Saturday, November 1 – Halloween Parties and Live Music

Halloween weekend wraps up with a variety of parties and live entertainment throughout the county.

  • Wisconsin Concrete Park Halloween Party (Phillips) | 4–8 p.m.
    Includes food by Lola’s Lunchbox, trick-or-treat stations from 5–7 p.m., and a haunted trail walk from 7–8 p.m.
  • Ripsaw Saloon (Prentice) | 7–9 p.m.
    Features buy-one-get-one mixed drinks, costume judging at 9 p.m., and music throughout the evening.
  • Sailor’s II “Pirates of the Caribbean” Party | 8 p.m. start | Costume judging at 11 p.m.
    Guests can enjoy food, contests, and prizes for the best pirate-themed costumes.
  • Flyway Resort Bar & Grill (Phillips) | 7 p.m.
    Live music from the MadLee Band offers a lively way to close out the Halloween festivities.
